Christine Nyberg Tunstall: The Girl with the "Sticky Out" Hair

In this oral history from April of 2019 you learn about immigration of Christine's parents from Sweden and Cornwall and how the families settled in our area even before Oregon was a state. Her family stories include delightful tales of the country life (and hijinks). Try not to smile when you hear about: burning down the onion barn; hauling eggs to the store; stopping buses with a cow; and how brother John got that scar on his ear.
