The Fabric of Our Lives
Another smashing success. On March 14 & 15 the Heritage Center became a quilt museum. With Denise Gies and Joan Spencer from Northwest Quilters Guild, speaking on “Chronicles of Covid-19” and how they captured the feelings and effects of that time in quilts. Also Carol Weber of the Latimer Quilt & Textile Center in Tillamook County presented a bed-turning of historic quilts in their collection. April Wicker, Eleanore Mickus, Laura Baker led the effort with the always present Chris Tunstall lending a hand.
