Crawfish Festival: A great Tualatin Tradition is now only history.

Come to the Heritage Center and see artifacts of past Crawfish Festivals including a slide show of past pictures.

Lois Dalton, the Boosters Club and the VFW expanded the festival in the 1950’s. The Tualatin JayCees eventually took over the organizing. It became a 2-day event offering an evening dance, a parade, musical performances and a crawfish eating contest. A royal court was selected along with a Grand Marshall. The last Crawfish Festival was held in 2019, due to a declining public interest and the onset of the COVID pandemic.
