Fabric of our Lives—Maybe the best program ever at the Heritage Center?

Many quilts will be on display starting Thursday March 9th (1-3) , Friday March 10th (10-2)  and Saturday March 11th (10-4).

  • All day Saturday: Participants will have the chance on site to sew a  block of red, white and blue design. These blocks will eventually become a quilt donated to Quilts of Valor, an organization that gifts such quilts to veterans.

  • Saturday is special because there are 2 speakers

    • 11:00 Feedsack Quilts.   Karen Stephens, Owner,  Speckled Hen Quilts: Custom Quilt Shop in Aurora

    • 2:00  Vintage Quilts from the Oregon Historical Society.  Helen Fedchak, Oregon Historical Society

  • Entrance is free, donations gratefully accepted.

  • There will be a quilt top door prize provided by THS member Chris Tunstall

The Historical Society is a proud grant recipient from the Cultural Coalition of Washington County whose funding helps support this program.
